As you know, our cool socks are made in one and the same factory, the same one as when we started. Very heavily impacted, the latter unfortunately had to increase its costs to also face inflation .Increase in the price of freight transport and energy - +10%
Even if our transport is limited by the proximity between the place of creation and manufacturing, we also remain impacted by this increase.What impact on Atelier St Eustache?
Atelier St Eustache, with its five candles, remains a company that continues to grow every day thanks to its team of 4 people and of course, thanks to you, great customers. But let's not kid ourselves, this increase in prices and structural costs does indeed have a direct impact on our margin and therefore, in the long term, on the profitability and sustainability of our small business.
Our options?
In the end, we don't have that many: changing our manufacturing process to reduce costs? Unthinkable, that would impact the very essence of Atelier St Eustache. Changing factories then? We spent precious time finding the ideal factory, on a human scale, with family values and the most qualitative and environmentally friendly manufacturing processes possible. Its proximity was also for us a choice of reason and heart to limit our impact on the environment. The only reasonable choice therefore remained to increase our prices to cope as best we can with inflation .
Despite everything, we remain faithful to our values.
It is for these reasons that we have arrived at this decision: to increase the price of our great socks by a maximum of €2 to allow us to remain aligned with our values and continue to offer you products designed in France , manufactured in Italy with exemplary quality materials for a finish and a longer lifespan over time.
