Fondée en 2017, Atelier St Eustache est une marque de chaussettes transparentes élégantes et audacieuses.

Chaque modèle est imaginé à Lyon par Violette où sensibilité esthétique et inspiration architecturale se rencontrent pour donner naissance à des pièces uniques, pensées pour le quotidien.

Nos chaussettes sont ensuite fabriquées en Italie, dans un atelier spécialisé au savoir-faire reconnu, où chaque paire est confectionnée avec exigence et précision.

L'histoire d'un voyage

La marque Atelier St Eustache a pris ses racines au coeur d’un voyage entrepris par sa créatrice, Violette, au cours d’une année d’études d’architecture à Tokyo.

Depuis des années, le Japon est reconnu comme une véritable institution de la mode à lui seul.
La créativité nippone s’exprime et se découvre sur les pavés des quartiers comme Shibuya ou Harajuku. Au delà d’un marqueur esthétique, le vêtement est utilisé dans ce pays comme un outil pour se distinguer en société, pour représenter une appartenance à une identité.

Mais ce qui a attiré l’oeil de Violette, c’est la particularité des japonais à nicher l’esthétique et la différenciation dans les accessoires, et en particulier : leurs chaussettes.

C’est ainsi que dès son retour en France, Violette se lance dans l’aventure et crée sa propre marque de chaussettes transparentes, afin d’habiller les pieds des femmes de sa créativité, et redonner ses lettres de noblesse à un accessoire négligé dans l’hexagone.

Des designs inspirés

Pour créer les designs des chaussettes St Eustache, Violette tire son inspiration du monde qui l’entoure, de son histoire et de son parcours.

Originaire de la région Lyonnaise, formée en Arts Appliqués et diplômée d’Architecture, elle s’est enrichie des cultures du monde en vivant à Londres plusieurs années, Tokyo, Shanghai, Paris … et continue de s’inspirer au quotidien en s’enivrant de tout ce qu’elle vit.

C’est pourquoi nos collections de chaussettes transparentes sont minimales, épurées, architecturales.

Elles vont chercher leurs motifs dans l’urbanisme d’une ville, leurs graphismes dans les lignes des bâtiments, leurs couleurs dans les plats typiques découverts au cours d’un voyage, ou dans la nature environnante…

En résumé, nous voulons nos chaussettes inspirées et inspirantes pour leurs futures propriétaires.

Nous travaillons nos chaussettes de manière à vous proposer un produit haut de gamme, confortable, solide … et qui vous émerveille au quotidien.
Chaque paire St Eustache est fabriquée dans une usine familiale Italienne située à 500km de nos bureaux avec des fils italiens certifiés Oeko-Tex.

Nos chaussettes sont très solides et conçues pour durer. Elles sont renforcées à la pointe, au talon et souvent à la semelle, et le fil transparent est plus épais et résistant qu’un collant, un vrai bonheur pour vos pieds !

📖 The Story of a Journey 📖

The Atelier St Eustache brand took its roots in the heart of a journey undertaken by its creator, Violette, during a year of architecture studies in Tokyo .

For years, this country has been recognized as a true fashion institution in its own right. Oscillating between tradition and Japanese pop culture, Japanese creativity is expressed and discovered on the cobblestones of neighborhoods like Shibuya or Harajuku. Beyond an aesthetic marker, in this country clothing is used as a tool to distinguish oneself in society , to represent belonging to an identity. Tokyo fashion thus asserts itself through colorful, original and sometimes even eccentric outfits.

But what caught Violette's eye in this eclectic universe was the Japanese particularity of nesting aesthetics and differentiation in accessories , and in particular: their socks. This is how, upon her return to France, Violette embarked on the adventure and created her own brand of transparent socks, in order to dress women's feet with her creativity, and restore its letters of nobility to an accessory neglected in France.

💡 Inspired designs 💡

To create the designs of our cute socks, Violette draws her inspiration from the world around her , from her history and her journey. Originally from the Lyon region, trained in Applied Arts and graduated in Architecture, she was enriched by the cultures of the world by living in London for several years, Tokyo, Shanghai, Paris ... and continues to be inspired daily by getting drunk on everything she experiences.

That's why our collections of transparent socks are minimal, refined, architectural . They find their patterns in the urban planning of a city, their graphics in the lines of buildings, their colors in the typical dishes discovered during a trip, or in the surrounding nature...

In short, we want our socks to be inspired and inspiring for their future owners.

We are a company on a human scale , so it is natural that we collaborate with companies that share our values. And we have paid particular attention to the manufacturing of our socks. It was after a year of research in Europe that we found the dream factory , and chose to set up part of Atelier St Eustache's suitcases in Italy .

At the helm of production, a family-run factory , on a human scale, with unique know-how , and which has been manufacturing for the high-end world for several generations: great stuff!

A sock size

What makes a good pair of sheer socks?

It is first a transparent thread thick enough so that it lasts over time, but also silky so that it feels nice on the skin. It is then a reinforcement at the toe and heel to prevent friction, and sometimes even a sole for even more comfort . And finally, it is a good elastic : tight enough to hold on the ankle, but not too tight so as not to cut off circulation.

From one thing to another

We only work with sons made in Italy , and OEKO-TEX certified . The main materials used are polyamide for the transparent thread, the viscose and polyamide for the patterns on the socks, and polyamide or cotton for the tip and heel. Our choice of threads is made mainly by the technical constraint and the complexity of manufacturing transparent socks.
