It's been a month since our spring-summer collection and its pretty summer colors appeared on our website. But we shot this collection 4 months ago in the South of France, in La Ciotat, the opportunity to take you a little behind the scenes.
Oh you Miss Acacia
After hesitating between several shooting locations, our choice finally fell on Maison Acacia , a pretty 18th century town house completely renovated, located in La Ciotat , not far from the port, the coves and the beaches .
The house has four rentable rooms distributed between the ground floor and the first floor of the house. Each room is also a shop where it is possible to buy all the decorative objects , and also regional products.
For our photoshoot , we had access to the personal space of the owners of the house , which can therefore be privatized for a filming, a photoshoot, a seminar or other event.
The actresses of the shoot
The shooting was of course organized by Violette, the brand's creator , accompanied by Esther and Margaux, communications managers . They took care of carefully choosing the outfits, with the help of Amandine , sales manager . Violette supervised the shooting while Esther and Margaux took care of immortalizing the backstage of the shooting and creating content for our Instagram account.
As usual, we called on our favorite photographer Clara and our model of always Suzanne to highlight our new collection of socks. Forming a dynamic duo , they offered us superb photos that you can admire on our website but also on all our networks.
Funny misadventures
However, our trip to La Ciotat was not easy. Leaving from Lyon , we had to make a connection in Marseille to reach La Ciotat . Our first train was late, so we missed our connection. End of story? Unfortunately not .
After an hour of waiting at Marseille station , we managed to find a train to La Ciotat. La Ciotat being announced as a stop, we got off the train and finally found ourselves in Cassis , with no taxis available to pick us up. Miraculously, a very nice lady drove us to the location of our shooting. We thus arrived more than an hour behind schedule. These are, sometimes, the strange hazards of the job.
