L’Atelier St Eustache a 3 ans ! 🎂

Atelier St Eustache is 3 years old! 🎂

Posted by Adèle Beaucoup on

Happy birthday to our favorite foot accessories! We are proud to blow out the brand's 3rd candle today!

For the occasion, we have chosen to confide in you the little hazards , secrets and prides of everyday life that you do not see. Violette has gone through 3 years of company life to list the moments that make Atelier St Eustache what it is today. We will therefore start with what makes us proud, then with the "bad luck" of everyday life and to finish, we will tell you about the events that happened in a hurry (but which ended well, we reassure you !).

Prides:

Violette won the jury prize in the T alents de mode competition in 2018, organized by the Village des Créateurs in Lyon. It was a great source of pride and a springboard for the life of Atelier St Eustache.

The layout of the offices is also a nice memory. Violette's first salary is also a satisfaction that also reflects the good life of a young company. Just like the hiring of the 3 interns who crossed paths over the last year.

The growing number of boutiques is one of the joys of daily life at Atelier St Eustache. Working with more and more boutiques adds a human touch to Violette's work, which she really appreciates.

Seeing the number of customers increasing and their loyalty is a great source of pride. Some of you are on your 10th order!

These are also the collections that still appeal to you, first the Tokyo collection which has become the brand's best-seller . Then the London collection which has found a place in your sock drawers . What about the 3rd collection? Surprise in September...

Since the beginning, Atelier St Eustache has always worked with the same photographer and the same model . A real little shooting team that gets along very well!

Another thing that hasn't changed since the brand was created: the Italian production plant . Violette really enjoys working with the members of the factory, who make it a point of honor to always improve the technique and precision of the products. It's always a pleasure to receive encouragement from the factory's boss!

Bad luck:

In the bad luck category, we can list the models that never saw the light of day . It happens that after receiving the prototypes and when we have the sock in our hands, we realize that finally, the color association does not work . So these are socks that end up in a box and stay there forever.

But also, we can tell you about the Nakameguro Rose , a model from the spring summer 2020 collection, which were delivered to us for the first time in the wrong color . Panic on board this morning at the office when we impatiently opened the package and which finally, was filled with the right model but the wrong color! Fortunately, the right pink was then able to be delivered and all's well that ends well .

Also, and at the same time, we received the Thames that were not knitted with the right pattern . Same panic, but the right models were also able to join us later. Phew !

Time trials:

Sometimes time management doesn't work to our advantage. And we find ourselves in complicated situations where we don't have enough time. However, we always manage to get through them and get through these time trials without anyone noticing !

For example, we can tell you about last winter's Advent calendar , which we started on time, but we were caught off guard and we finished everything at a rapid pace.

It also happened that Violette received socks that she had to present for a trade show a week before the opening of the trade show. Speaking of receiving socks, we told you about it in the section above, but production errors also made us receive the spring summer 2020 collection in a rush , just (a tiny bit) late.

We also improvised the contest for this year's Mother's Day. Luckily we had the experience of the Advent Calendar to help us.

Violette also had to ask her mother for help to come and help her pack the socks after a trade show. It was still the time when Violette packed the socks herself . A huge job! Now the factory has taken over.

There you have it! We hope you enjoyed learning more about the life of this young brand!
And happy birthday again Atelier St Eustache!
