Que faire des chaussettes que vous ne portez plus ?

What to do with socks you no longer wear?

Posted by Atelier St Eustache on

You have probably already wondered what to do with your old socks, whether they are too small, stretched or have holes. Rather than sadly throwing them in the household waste where more than 600,000 tons of clothing end up each year, we have a solution to recycle them.

Give them back!

We have been in partnership with the company Redonner for some time now. Redonner collects your old clothes , whether they are worn , out of fashion , have holes , etc., in one of the 40,000 collection points throughout France . Once your donation has been deposited at a collection point, Redonner will reward you with a points system.

As you probably know, fashion is the second most polluting industry in the world... To combat this scourge, Redonner has set itself the mission of delinking the production of new clothing, shoes and household linen from its impact on the environment , by accelerating the transition of the fashion industry towards a more circular economy.

Our commitment

Well aware of the impact that the fashion industry has on our world, we have always attached great importance to our ecological footprint since the beginning of our brand. This is why we have chosen an Italian factory located less than 500km from its stock location to limit travel, to use recyclable packaging, to offer sustainable products.

Our partnership with Redonner is therefore an opportunity to strengthen our commitment in a more concrete and daily way and to promote the sorting and recycling sector in France.

Take part in the big spring cleaning 2022

To continue our momentum, we are organizing this April the spring cleaning operation in collaboration with Redonner . We are giving you one month to empty , sort and dust your closet in search of clothes, fabrics or shoes that you no longer want to wear and to take advantage of it to take action with Redonner.

On the occasion of this big Spring cleaning and for all the people participating in the action, we reward you with a 20% promo code on our online store.

From April 1st to 30th, donate your used clothes and be rewarded! To do so, nothing could be simpler:

Step 1: SORT

Sort through your closet and select the items you want to donate . No matter what condition they are in, Redonner will know how to recycle them (socks, clothes, fabrics, accessories, shoes, etc.). Then, pack them in a tightly closed bag.

Step 2: GIVE

Find a collection point near you directly on our website . Then drop off your old clothes there and send a photo of your bags to redonner@redonner.fr

Step 3: ENJOY

You can now treat yourself with your exceptional 20% reward on the entire ateliersteustache.fr website 🥳

Donate your used clothes and get rewarded with Redonner!
