Posted by Adèle Beaucoup on

In today's article, we offer you lots of sock tutorials!

We started from a simple observation: everyone has an old pair of socks lying around at the bottom of our drawer.
Well it's time to get them out! Today, old stuff is in the spotlight.

The goal is to live these few weeks of confinement as best as possible. We wanted to present you some "special socks" tips and tricks! 🧦

Here are five ways to reuse your old socks. Or put new ones to good use!

Curl your hair 💁‍♀️

Did you know that your socks are the modern day hair curlers?
Yes! You can use your socks to curl your hair, without heat (even better!).

To do this, you simply need to wrap damp strands (more or less large depending on your preference) around a sock and leave it on overnight.

Catching dust 🧹

Spring is well and truly here, and so is confinement, many of you are taking advantage of it to do the famous spring cleaning. Well, your old socks can be useful here too. Place your hand in a thick cotton sock, and you'll have something to catch dust in every nook and cranny! 🖐🧦

Make a stuffed animal 🐱

If you have little ones at home, and you like sewing, you can use socks to make stuffed animals. And more specifically cats. A more delicate procedure to detail, you will find a tutorial by clicking here

Create stories with puppets 🤡

Here is a great way for you and your children to escape a little. Let your imagination and that of your "little angels" run wild by putting a sock around your hand. With a little sewing beforehand, your sock will take on the appearance of a character that you can animate as you wish. Let's play!
