A weekly appointment, this week's blog post will focus on style tips.
More specifically, what are the perfect shoe/sock matches?
This is the question we are going to answer today. It is about how to make both your transparent socks and your shoes shine at the same time.
There are shoes that show more socks than others. And some models are designed to enhance your ankles and require a few cuffs.
Don’t panic, we’ll explain everything to you.
There is a legend that says that women own many pairs of shoes. Funny legend...
In any case, it is sometimes difficult to make a choice in the morning. And in the rush, the final choice always falls on that famous pair of shoes… That we wear all the time!
It's time to put this fad behind us and create shoe/sock matches worthy of being put on display in broad daylight.
And if the rule is confinement at the moment, we have all the time to develop these pairs in peace. Try, change, try again, then validate.
Another activity to add to the special confinement list!
So we're going to divide this article into four parts: derbies, sneakers, loafers and pumps. Namely the four most worn shoe models.
DERBYS
With this style of shoes, we recommend the Shibuya stripes of course, but also the Ginza and Shinjuku. Derbies reveal the foot a little lower than the ankle. It is therefore ideal to make a few cuffs to your pants to reveal even more socks.
SNEAKERS
Sneakers cover the entire foot, so you want the pattern on your socks to extend all the way up to the top of the foot. Any socks can go with a nice pair of sneakers, but there are some styles that are a must-have. These include the Tate Modern, London Eye, Shinjuku, and Nakameguro.
MOCCASINS
Loafers are often chosen for a more elegant but comfortable look with their small heel. They are a bit like derbies but more open on the foot. With this type of shoes, we recommend without hesitation: the Flower of London, the Nakameguro as well as the Notting Hill.
PUMPS
For height lovers, pumps are a model that reveals the foot entirely. They are the ideal shoes to reveal the details of your socks worked on the top of the foot. Then opt for the Tokyo, the London Eye and the Thames.
